She studied at the University of Leicester and the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena. She completed her PhD at the Department for International Politics, Aberystwyth University, UK (2009-2014).<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:20px;margin-bottom:20px;width:100%;\"><div class=\"fusion-separator-border sep-single\" style=\"--awb-height:20px;--awb-amount:20px;--awb-sep-color:#ffffff;border-color:#ffffff;border-top-width:1px;\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><h2>Contents:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"34\" data-lineheight=\"47.6px\">\n<h3>Artificial intelligence currently has three areas of debate in (peace) diplomacy:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"34\" data-lineheight=\"47.6px\">Artificial intelligence as a field of innovation and regulation in international contexts (standards, regulatory regimes)<\/li>\n<li class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"34\" data-lineheight=\"47.6px\">Artificial intelligence as a support technology in diplomacy (especially for smaller states)<\/li>\n<li class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"34\" data-lineheight=\"47.6px\">Artificial intelligence and other technology as drivers of a new cold war (China vs. USA)<\/li>\n<li data-fontsize=\"34\" data-lineheight=\"47.6px\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"34\" data-lineheight=\"47.6px\">\n<h3>About working at the DiploFoundation:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"34\" data-lineheight=\"47.6px\">For more than ten years, she has been designing and leading events, seminars and training measures for diplomats and employees of international organisations in the fields of digital politics and diplomacy.<\/li>\n<li class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"34\" data-lineheight=\"47.6px\">The focus here is on capacity development at the interface between diplomacy and digital technology.<\/li>\n<li class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"34\" data-lineheight=\"47.6px\">Her research focuses on: Changing diplomatic practice, artificial intelligence as a topic and tool of foreign policy, and internet governance.
