Concepts for mediation <\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>&#8211; Part 8: 3D negotiations<\/strong><\/h3><\/h1><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\"><h3><strong>International mediation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&#8211; In December 2018, the UN General Assembly adopted the\u00a0<strong>United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements based on Mediation\u00a0<\/strong>harmonised the legal framework for such agreements. This is a great success for mediation efforts worldwide. The UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) had previously drawn up this work, which became known as the &#8222;Singapore Convention&#8220;.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The agreement is a<strong> Instrument to facilitate international trade <\/strong>and to the<strong> Promotion of mediation <\/strong>as an alternative and effective method for resolving trade disputes. Lax and James K. Sebenius.<\/em><\/strong> They have significantly introduced the idea into negotiation science that negotiation success is not only achieved at the negotiating table, but also \"away from the table\". What has already been sown and secured is usually reaped at the negotiating table.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><em>Model of the 3D negotiation<\/em><\/strong> makes it clear that there are three important dimensions that make up effective and successful negotiation.
